The Noodle Goose approach
A great team event gives the quick thinker, the quiet observer and the creative problem-solver something to contribute.
Accessibility is good game design.Clear rules, satisfying decisions and a little surprise. We start with the experience people will actually enjoy.
We ask about access needs, sensory preferences, movement and comfort with the spotlight. Then we design the participation options into the plan.
Celebrating, welcoming new teammates or exploring communication? That goal shapes the game. An optional debrief can help people connect the experience to their work.
Meet your event team
We’re Karen Mak and Dan “Kilby” Kilby. Noodle Goose brings together game design, live experiences, communication and storytelling.
Karen’s background as a speech-language pathologist informs how we think about communication, participation and accessible play.
Dan’s extensive improv experience includes performing with Colin Mochrie and many other performers. He brings that experience to approachable games that help people listen, respond and create together.
You may also know Dan from Survivor 51. His background in game design and award-winning filmmaking brings story and energy to the experience.
Our work includes the Swim into the Sun fan experience, the You Can Play This Game Jam and game-based learning for autistic youth.

Who’s coming, what’s the occasion and how do you want people to feel? A rough brief is plenty to start.
We propose the format, budget, timing and support. You know what’s included before we get rolling.
We prepare the agreed experience and bring the hosting, materials and energy your plan calls for.
A few practical things
Tell us your city and venue, or whether your group is remote. We’ll confirm travel, availability and any venue or technical needs in your proposal. We can plan for offices, event spaces and suitable outdoor settings.
We can build around shared goals, small groups and cooperative rounds. Tell us your team’s energy, and we’ll recommend a mix that suits them.
No. Our improv sessions start with simple, guided games. We can use pairs and small groups, with alternatives to performing in front of the room. The focus is listening, collaboration and enjoying the process together.
These are portable, hosted experiences designed for your office or event space. We agree the story, puzzles, setup and venue requirements in your proposal.
We discuss access needs during planning: instructions, pacing, sensory environment, movement, breaks and alternatives to being on stage. Specific adaptations are agreed with you for the chosen format.
Yes. We can weave your theme, brand and approved company content into the game. Custom design and branded materials are scoped separately, depending on how much you want to build.
We can explore formats for a remote group. Tell us your platform, headcount and time zones so we can confirm what is suitable and what technical support is needed.
Pricing depends on format, headcount, custom design, location, staffing and production. Share a budget range if you have one. We’ll explain the options and separate travel and optional extras in the quote.
